Movement For Better Economic Solutions

pALLicies: An Economic Policy Encyclopedia for Dummies is an idea aimed at offering an apolitical platform to counter the militarization of the economy in politics. This site addresses how politicians often exploit the public's lack of knowledge on economic topics to deceive and manipulate opinions. By providing clear and unbiased explanations of various economic policies, the site empowers individuals to make informed decisions and engage in meaningful discussions without distorting political agendas.

Presenting, Who is Francesco?

My name is Francesco Angelo Milo, and I am a high school student with a deep passion for economics and technology. Having lived in Venezuela, Ecuador, Brazil, and Switzerland, I’ve experienced firsthand the stark contrasts between wealth and poverty, which sparked my desire to understand and address economic inequality.

It infuriates me that populist politicians often gain attention by misleading impressionable, poorly educated people, especially in South America but increasingly in countries like the USA. Fueled by economic jargon and misinformation, this manipulation drives me to create resources that empower individuals with unbiased, accessible knowledge.

Why am I doing this?

I was born in Venezuela, lived in Ecuador, in Brazil and know I am living in Switzerland. My mother is Argentinian and my father Italian.

I always wondered, what needs to happen to have economic wealth created, why it is so poorly distributed and what are the economic mechanism, pALLicies, which need to be in place to elevate millions from poverty to middle class.

I have seen and lived next to extreme poverty. I have engaged with NGOs on site and have helped in the favelas of Brazil – it all feels right and needs to be done to alleviate suffering. But at the end all this engagement has little impact and a seems like a drop in the ocean.

I believe we need to have a bigger scale impact to systemically change the status quo and successfully eradicate poverty. For me all starts with educating myself first and secondly helping the young population to better understand how the economy works.
